Candidacy

living for a period, usually one year, in an SNJM community.

Novitiate
Spend a two-year period of integration into religious life.

The first year focuses on deepening a life of prayer, reflection, and learning the way of vowed life in the SNJM tradition.
The second year provides an experience of mission, community life and an opportunity to serve in an SNJM ministry.

Temporary Vows
Live vowed commitment
for three to six  years.
Continue an SNJM apostolic lifestyle flowing from the values of vowed poverty, celibacy and obedience.

Permanent Vows
Choose to make the vows
of poverty, celibacy and obedience for a lifetime within the SNJM Congregation.
